大阪大学 The University of Osaka

Since its establishment in 1931, the University of Osaka has been committed to contribute to social stability and welfare in the community under its spirit of “Live Locally, Grow Globally” which the university inherited from Kaitokudo (founded in 1838) and Tekijuku (founded in 1724), a place of learning. Across generations, the University of Osaka has always responded to the challenges in society and been committed to cultivate able and talented professionals capable of helping humanity realize its ideals through cutting-edge research.

The University of Osaka aims to be able to respond to complicated worldwide issues through openness to global society and novel values. The university is working together with university partners around the world as Global Knowledge Partners as well as ASEAN Campus Project partners to contribute to the solution to these issues and achieve SDGs.
